And the Clock Strikes....

Posted September 16, 2008 2:36:56 PM

It's so pleasing to be able to hear the downtown clock striking the hour every hour downtow. Here is a note from one of the people who went to the rededication of the clock tower:

Rededication of the town clock was celebrated by a dinner hosted by the Petaluma/Hamilton Masonic Lodge September 13, 2008.

What a wonderful insightful evening. The history, the passion the wisdom and integrity that this city and its town's people of the past and present have demonstrated symbolized by this master timepiece is something we should be VERY PROUD OF. We will want to remind the people of the future how important and lives enriching these efforts are when we work together for a quality future. Being reminded and learning anew I certainly will be inspired to pay more attention to this history in the future.

Thank you Masons, City of Petaluma, and the town's people.

Feel free to pass this information on.
