First Friday, the Downtown Santa Rosa Artwalk

Thanks to those of you who made the First Friday, the Downtown Santa Rosa Artwalk such a success. We have a few spots open for artists to participate in the up coming months so please, visit www.firstfridaysantarosa.com for detailed information and application forms or call Catherine DePrima at the Arts Council at 579-2787 ext. 3#.

Snapshot of the event:
On the first Friday evening of each month from June through November, there will be yet another source of fun in downtown Santa Rosa. Businesses throughout the Courthouse Square area will open their doors from 5 to 8pm for visitors to view special temporary art exhibits, mingle with local artists, and nibble on free snacks. Roving street musicians will make the stroll from one in-store exhibit to another even more enjoyable. For the foot-weary, Rosie the Trolley will be offering free rides between the venues. After seeing the art you can extend the fun by visiting one of downtown's many great restaurants or grab a drink at one of the fine bars or pubs.

First Friday is a collaborative effort of the City of Santa Rosa, Santa Rosa Main Street, the Arts Council of Sonoma County, downtown businesses, and Community Foundation Sonoma County.
