On Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m., the Petaluma Arts Council will host a Hard Hat Tour of the new, still under-construction, Petaluma Arts Center in the Historic Railroad Depot Building.

What: A two-dimensional juried ART show

Title: "Happy Days: Evoking the spirit of the 50s-60s!"

In the spring of 2008, Petaluma is celebrating its 150th anniversary and also its location for the filming of "American Graffiti" in 1973. Riverfront Art Gallery is joining the fun with a special Fifties and Sixties art exhibit. Open to all artists who create work that can hang on the wall. A special "American Graffiti" weekend salute, from May 15 to 17, takes place in front of our downtown gallery.
Submit images by email (4x6 JPEGS, 300 dpi) or as 4x6 photo prints. Entry fee $25 for 1 to 3 images; $5 for each additional image. All work must be for sale; gallery commission is 40 percent.
Entry deadline: April 8th. Mail entries to Riverfront Art Gallery, 132 Petaluma Blvd. North, Petaluma, CA 94952;
or mail entry fee check to the gallery and submit entry form and JPEGs by email: submissions@riverfrontartgallery.com.
Artists will be selected by April 12th. All accepted entries must be delivered to the gallery on April 25th or April 27th, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
