Linda is the co-owner of the Pelican Art Gallery & Custom Framing Studio in the heart of downtown Petaluma. She is a painter (watercolor & acrylic) and community participant through the Petaluma Arts Association, Petaluma Arts Council, Watercolor Society of Sonoma County & the Arts Council of Sonoma County.

Featuring 22 artists from California and 12 from New York, Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, Illinois, Washington, and Seoul, South Korea.
Etta Deikman was invited. She has been painting all her life, first exhibit was in 1957 in New Haven, CT. Influential teachers: John Ferren at the Brooklyn Museum School who led her to Hans Hoffmann in New York. Deikman also spent time working under the tutelage of fellow painter Willem de Kooning at the Black Mountain College in North Carolina. "de Kooning was a real teacher and helpful to his students. I was shocked the first time I walked into his studio and saw the painting that, at the time, hung on the wall in progress, "Woman 1." Deikman considers herself an Abstract Expressionist. She paints with oil on canvas, acrylic and mixed media on paper. Her works range from fifteen inches to eight feet. She has three large scale paintings in this exhibit. Etta lives with her husband in the Mt. Tamalpais area - a Mill Valley resident.

This Saturday, August 16th, 5-9 pm is the reception the new show at Riverfront Gallery featuring Featuring Tracy Bigelow Grisman "Jazz Line" & Henry White "A Few of My Favorite Scenes". Expect to have a great time with lots of new art, lively conversation, good food & drink. There will be live acoustic music, old time blues and swing, by Tracy and Henry with some special guests. The show will run through September 21.
